Here is How you Gain Eternal Life

God Created You

God created you on purpose and for a purpose. He is holy, loving, just, and the Creator of all things. Humanity was made to know Him, walk with Him, and glorify Him.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1

“So God created man in His own image…” — Genesis 1:27

Every person has value and dignity because every person is created in the image of God.

Sin Separates Us from God

Although God created humanity for relationship with Him, every one of us has sinned. We have all rebelled against God through our thoughts, actions, attitudes, pride, selfishness, lust, hatred, lies, and disobedience.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

Sin is not merely breaking rules—it is rejecting God’s authority and choosing our own way instead of His.

Because God is holy and just, sin brings judgment and separation from Him.

“For the wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23

No amount of good works, religion, morality, money, or effort can erase our sin or make us right before God.

Jesus Christ Came to Save Sinners

God loves humanity so deeply that He made a way for sinners to be forgiven.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect and sinless life—the life we could never live.

Jesus willingly died on the cross to take the punishment our sins deserved.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Three days later, Jesus rose bodily from the dead, defeating sin and death forever.

“He is not here, for He has risen…” — Matthew 28:6

Jesus alone can save.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” — John 14:6

How Should You Respond?

The Bible calls every person everywhere to repent and believe the gospel.

Repentance means turning away from sin and surrendering your life to God.

Faith means trusting completely in Jesus Christ—not in yourself, religion, or good deeds—for forgiveness and salvation.

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…” — Acts 3:19

“For by grace you have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God, not of works…” — Ephesians 2:8–9

Salvation is not earned. It is a gift received through faith in Jesus Christ.

Following Jesus

To follow Jesus means more than simply agreeing with facts about Him. Jesus calls people to surrender their lives to Him as Lord and Savior.

When a person trusts in Christ:

  • Their sins are forgiven.
  • They are reconciled to God.
  • They receive eternal life.
  • The Holy Spirit begins transforming them.
  • They become part of God’s family.

Jesus then calls His followers to obey Him, grow in His Word, be baptized, and live as His disciples.

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23

A Personal Invitation

Jesus Christ is alive, and He invites you to come to Him today.

No matter your background, failures, religion, doubts, addictions, or past sins, forgiveness and new life are available through Him.

You do not need to clean yourself up before coming to God. You come by faith, trusting in what Jesus has already done.

The Bible says:

“Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13

If you want to follow Jesus, you can begin by turning to Him in prayer—confessing your sin, placing your faith in Christ, and surrendering your life to Him.

A simple prayer might sound like this:

“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me, change me, and become the Lord of my life. I place my trust in You alone. Teach me to follow You. Amen.”

The prayer itself does not save you—Jesus saves. But genuine repentance and faith in Him changes everything.
